For starters I truly have it in me to be more of a consistent “blogger”.
I owe it to myself to get what is on the inside of me towards the outside(location, here.)
With that being said, here we go!
I am stirred often, however, never clear enough to express. So with every attempt that is put forth my goal is to have no boundaries in the entries to come. my utmost for Him.
God has such a bad rap! I really shouldn’t be surprised. The man, Jesus, wasn’t even accepted in His hometown.
This scripture has been embedded into my heart 2Tim 3:1 “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.”
This is just one verse that lays it out so plainly what we are seeing throughout the news, policies of gov’t, and false leaders within the confines of the church. Love is what is needed. A love that can only be found in His word. “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sin” 1 Pet 4:8. THIS! This is what reaches through the barriers of religion and disagreement of lifestyle. This is what Jesus’ character was all about. He got down on a knee, spat on the dusty ground to make mud and pursued His fathers direction. Jesus got nasty, unrecognizable for MY sin(S)! He allowed Himself to become this for your shortcomings, temptations, and ultimately for your destiny! His will is for all things to be made whole!
My prayer is this: That no matter where you currently are, that you would look around and reflect on the distinct change in your life that were unpredictable. A change that was positive that you couldn’t have orchestrated if you tried. Once you have a moment nailed down, believe that Jesus made that happen. From this moment on you would acknowledge that His presence has always been there and that you would also give recognition to Him as soon as another change happens for the better. Once this has become a slight habit, you will also notice the negative changes. I also want you to acknowledge there is an opposite force for negative. Call it like it is and press forward to the greater goal to make Jesus known.
Recap: Love others as we love ourselves. Reflect on His presence, acknowledge His continued goodness. Acknowledge the negative force and believe Jesus wins every time! Claim victory before you FEEL victorious!
